i can see a more daring type of woman doing this bag well... however, i'm not that woman. haha! and, like many others, if i were to even try, it would have to be with RH. the silver just looks wayyy clunky! not sure about the slouch on that leather, either... then again, pictures are often misleading.

this makes me want an oval. :0

I am very intrigued by this bag
I would like to know the handle drop, does it have a shoulder strap, and how it would look in sienna with RH? I tend to think those designers know what they're doing, and there's probably something pretty fabulous about it!

I just tried the new giant hobo style, and while I love the way it looks and hangs when empty, I was completely turned off of it as soon as I tried putting my things in it. It did not have enough room and looked too bulky. I'm wondering if this one will have similar problems for me. Plus, I'm thinking the handles will be too short for shoulder carry (especially when the bag is stuffed).

No this bag has the side paneling that gives it depth. The SS 07 Giant HOBO doesn't have that third piece of leather/panel so it has no room to expand.

RealDeal posted on another thread that she spoke with an SA today and the Sphere will only come in Giant Hardware. :push:

I'm really sick of the hardware limitations on new bags. They just lost my purchase on this one - I won't compromise here.

My initial opinion is that it's a no for me...but then again I said that about the GH and now I've just ordered a violet Day with Silver GH, so who knows. :shrugs:

I'll need more pics before I can make a decision.

ITA with Incoral and Kristy.
One of the reasons that makes us special compared to other forums is that PFers in this Balenciaga forum are extremely friendly and nice to each other.
None of the negativity/harsh criticisms that are quite common in forums is seen here.

I would like to keep it that way.

Oh, and me no likey the bag either:sad:

I like square shaped bags better than round ones....and I don't necessarily feel the need to diversify my collection by experimenting with different styles.

But hey, I'm the kind of person that if I LOVE something, I tend to get it in every color possible:nuts:

i got a call today from peggy at neiman's sf, and she said the sphere arrived today in black with ggh...

she said it's a very interesting bag and pretty large...
i'm going to try to head down there today after work and take pics of it...

i'll also try to take pics of any other new arrivals...
