Thank you etoile, it's very nice to see you too! The latest bracelet was added when I had a GM to return and nothing there looked irresistible. The bracelets are a lot of fun, heavy and smooth. Good to try on in person to get just the right size. Look very nice with the Farandole too, if you've succumbed to that?

Yes pierina, I've ventured into the jewelry department a bit recently too ;), as none of the spring scarves have really captured my heart. There are certainly enough variations on chain weights and lengths, of the Chaîne d'Ancre bracelets, to find one that feels just right! I did recently try the Farandole bracelet, and although it might be fun as a way to add length to my necklace, I think may prefer something more weighty on my wrist.

I agree with you about the Farandole bracelet, though I bet it could be combined with the Chaine. Alone it looks more like a young girl's bracelet to me. I was referring to the Farandole necklace, I couldn't recall if you had one of those or not?

Ah, yes...scroll up a bit to post #151, where I've posted a photo of me wearing my Farandole necklace! ;)

Oh my goodness, how silly of me etoile, my apologies! :flowers: Somehow I missed that entire post. Aren't the Farandoles so satisfying heavy? I resisted even trying them on for years because they looked too delicate. Wrong again. :smile1:

Don't give it another thought! ;) Yes, so lovely, weighty, and beautifully crafted. If possible, I love mine more, each time I wear it! Now I want more Hermes silver jewelry! :wondering

OMGoodness....Just looked at all 11 pages. So elegant and simple and fabulous!!

Ladies, when I saw this chunk of a bracelet last week, I thought to myself--I love the idea of a ship being tethered to the shore, just waiting to make her jaunt across the unpredictable sea. The chain symbolizes safe keeping and caretaking of something. I love the old song, "Chain chain chain." I love a dog's leash and how master and pet are linked together in a lock of safety and love.... My cup rutheth over. Forgive me but I am gu gu gushing with love over my new Chain d'Ancre. It is the beginning of a love relationship. I didn't even realize that my two scarf rings are also the same pattern. Thanks for letting me share my friends.

You speak of it so eloquently! Love hearing your rhapsodies, and so glad you dropped in to share your photo, and thoughts! :smile1:

I share this sentiment entirely. My adoration for the Farandole and how it dangles with great weight from my neck is increasing with every day I wear it.

Lisa, love your bracelet and petic waxing:smile1:

Maedi, So glad to hear you love yours so much, as well! I think it's hard to capture its beauty in photos, and it looks so much more gorgeous in person. Resistance was not only futile, but not entertained, once I tried it on! :D
