Both my special orders had about 40% mark up. Just my experience.
I asked to order magic earrings in chalcedony rose gold, which is on the chart, but was told this was on the chart by mistake and not an actual option. Chalcedony earrings are only available in white gold. Just FYI in case anyone else was considering this one. I love chalcedony, but white gold washes me out.
I asked about a pendant in GMOP and YG and they told me that it is not available for a SO now (since the PG is just released). But they think it will be available next year. So maybe the WG is as well.I would love to make a vintage white gold pendant in turquoise, GMOP, or Malachite. None are on this list
I think this was in RG. But now that I am examining these pics, it might have been YG. Can’t remember. This was at my local NM, a special order that they didn’t want. My impression of the GMOP was that it was a darker shade. But turns out that it can be very beautiful. I love the blue hue it can take at certain angles.
Did you end up buying this dear? Just curious about something- are the air gaps more obvious in these? That’s what it seems like on the pics but it’s so hard to see sometimes without seeing it in person.
To be honest nothing obvious on mine, and I am very ‘airline sensitive’
So I wonder if it’s a batch by batch issue, cause I have seen some vintage so gmop earrings that seem to have a more vintage, obvious airline gaps look
I also think the camera angles can sometimes make the airlines look worse. If the gaps are proportional it’s ok for me but sometimes I see the motifs and the gold beadings around them very uneven on others that I saw from a distance Apologies for the blurry pics but one is from a video just to see it closer up
