Do u think these pieces are just a passing trend? Any experience w the quality? It is pretty pricey for costume pieces...

I am not familar with the AB resin collection, but I do have pieces from the Miss Havasham and Lucite collections and I adore them!!! I've had no issues at all with the quality. I think all the AB pieces are quite lovely.

I went to the Alexis Bittar trunk show yesterday at Nordstrom Seattle, and WOW!

I've always liked the lucite pieces, and the show was a sight to behold. There was everything from simple to elaborate one of a kind pieces.

I'll post the pieces that followed me home as soon as the camera battery charges!

Here are the pieces that followed me home yesterday. ReRe knows me from the Bottega Forum, so she will not be surprised at my selections....yes, I like beetles.

I believe the necklace was special for the trunk show. But, I've seen the bangle and pin on alexisbittar.com. They are part of the O'Keefe collection and utilize some antiqued silver. The items were also available with gold metals and more of an orange/lime green colorway.

One more bangle followed me home. The pinkish-purple crystals look like rhodolite garnet in color, not so much like amethyst.
