White paper tag with blank ink- fake. I think she posted the photo. There were two fakes in the thread.
Here is what an authentic tag looks like.

Hi, I purchased one of mine in Florence at a very reputable boutique and my tag looks nothing like that.The letters have a sheen to it,The font is also different.The tag is a lot smaller and sewn to wrap around the lining.

i agree with boxermom, you can easily miss the tag on the authentic version. it took me 10 minutes to find it. very small and very close to inside seam.
beware of fakes from china and italy.

The made in Italy tags come from China not Italy.The Chinese Factories do this.Italy is very controlled when it comes to replicas.25 years in prison, I have a home there so I know how strict things are. If a seller is found selling fakes the penalties are very very high money and Jail ...

OK, so the real tags say China but they have been found in the fakes also?

After days and days of phone calls and research I have found that they are so many variables to these bags.2 different factories have manufactured them for Wang.I even found out that at first run was produced in Brooklyn.
I am waiting for confirmation from various sources pics and so on I will post them all here.Maybe we can finally have a true understanding without the continuous speculation on these beauties.I am on a quest ladies and soon we will have the truth

I think the reason why some ladies said there Coco have NO TAGS, is because it's a very small tag & in black the same color as the lining of the bag. When I dig inside my bag, i had to almost turn it inside out, it's so hidden right between the piping & the corners. So, they should have the tag. I don't know anything about the fakes. Just for peace of mind, stay away from Ebay for this bag, since there's nobody here who can help you to confirm the authenticity.

After reading about the confusion with the tags I pulled out Coco and turned her inside out and inspected very carefully. I found it! I am sorry for any confusion my erroneous post may have caused :shame:. Anyway, here is a couple of shots of an authentic Coco tag.

Thanks for posting the pictures Veyda, I have exactly the same tag. My digital camera is having a hard time focusing the very tiny thing. I wish Alexander Wang made these bags from Italy or here in the US.

Ok, so the manager only told me that the baby Coco Duffel is half the size of the original. Doesn't really help.

If someone sees it in real life, take out your measuring tape and report back to base.

My friend bought this bag from this seller directly, I know I know, she was warned by me but did not listen .After comparing it to my Cocos its a fake.Total fake, nothing about it not even the weight or leather feels right. I own one with made in China tag and one from the first product line (which my daughter took away) thats why I had to buy a second one.First product line is a lot heavier.this bags leather is way off compared to both.Return it I say this from first hand experience Its fake.
I am real sorry to be the bearer of bad news.

I said I would stop talking about Ebay stuff but since you posted in here I will respond. I told the person that it is a fake and I want my money back. They were very nice and said they would refund (didn't try to claim it was authentic or anything). THEY THEN PROCEEDED TO SAY THAT THEY WERE SURE THEY WERE GOING TO GET AN AUTHENTIC ONE IN NEXT WEEK AND WANTED TO KNOW IF I WANTED IT LMFAO I SAID NO. They still asked that I not give them negative or neutral feedback. Once I get my money back I am giving them a BIG FAT NEGATIVE FEEDBACK lol !!! What threw me off also was when I got the bag there was this sketchy crumpled up note in the bag in broken english saying "...enjoy your real Alexander Wang bag..." LOL! I'm done with ebay! I'm going to pre-order the grey one from SATINE BOUTIQUE
