Howdy :D

I've never seen one in person because you can only get them on Shopbop, but I believe it is just a soft thick leather which is dyed a certain way so that it looks a bit like suede.

Hey girls...

Gotta question... I've had my Coco now for about 4 months now, and use it quite a lot. I've noticed that the bottom is not near as firm as it was when I first bought it - very "bendy". Has anyone else experienced this, or have I just used mine too much? :thinkin:

Those of you who have REAL cocos, bought from LEGITIMATE sellers like Barney's Mick Margo Satine etc what is the interior lining made out of- I have had it with ebay and think I got a really good fake this time because the "made in china" tag is black (unlike the other one which was white and stuffed animal fakey looking)- but the inside of this one is what gets me (besides the smell ... and the leather just not feeling right) the inside is like windbreaker material it feels like- I thought the inside was like satin or silky? Let me know!

Once I return this bag which I am hoping will go over smoothly... because I am about 99% sure it is a really good fake- I think I would know when I feel the REAL leather of this bag... it looks SO buttery soft and thick whereas this looks and feels different.... anyway once I get this bag out of my hands and get the cash returned to me I am going straight to Satine Boutique and pre-ordering the Grey coco duffel. And then I will for SURE post pictures to you guys of it!

the interior of mine is black cotton fabric. not silky or shiny.

it scares me that people are relying on Made in China tags to determine which bags are fake. i'm surprised that the leather doesn't give it away. i know that one hallmark of a fake fendi spy (which is made of bubbly distressed lambskin much like the coco) is the leather is smooth. are some of the real cocos made of smooth leather too? i hate that we share information here which can be used by fraudsters to make the fake bags seem more real.

So the black cotton fabric- would you describe it as being waterproof feeling or windbreaker material feeling? That's how mine is... I am not going to return it until I know 100% that it is a fake... but the leather to me gives it away it just doesn't feel right... I've handled a lot of really quality leather and this just doesn't feel like it. Here is the auction listing

OMG!!! that seller carries a lot of AW Cocos, just wondering where she got them from... that's the scary part if everything she got are all FAKE. She doesn't even say it's authentic w/ 100% money back guarantee. But still, there's a BIG possibility that everything she have are all COUNTERFEIT, I feel so bad for people who's about to get rip off if they're FAKE. If you insist on buying from Ebay, you always have your conscience bugging you all the time, everytime you wear the bag if it's really Authentic & that is very stressful. If you think it's worth it, that's up to you.

I feel like this thread is getting a little overrun with Ebay questions - can we have a separate thread for that? :thinkin: Sorry, its just that I like reading about people's account with their Cocos or seeing pictures since mine is on order, and I just don't want to read about all the Ebay fakes.
