Did they ever make this style without studs on the bottom? I love the look of the Diego but don't do well with heavy bags and was wondering if there were some versions that he made without the studs?

Yes, the original Diego was made without studs on the bottom. Unfortunately all the Diegos now have the studs.

Oh- i love the studs, but I don't like the extra weight. That was one of the reason I ended up getting rid of my Rocco- it was just too heavy to lug around!

I think it is, although the edging on mine is cracking at the opening of the bag (don't know if that makes sense)... however I would say it's a little bit difficult to use as an everyday bag because it's hard to get in and out of sometimes....

Mine is cracking too. I think it's a common defect for this bag.

i'll be extra careful with the opening then! i just got mine today, and the leather is amazing

Are the cupcake studs supposed to be significantly lighter? Has anyone compared?

Yes, the cupcake is aprox 30% lighter than the original cone ones,but I do like the cone ones more.

i don't trust ioffer at all! I think a lot of the photos on there are stolen from ebay listings. I have shopped Bonanza before and never had a problem
