^thanks sarag! have reviewed those pics too... i know, i know, i'm hopin its close to luggage! a cognac hue would be perfect! it looks mustardy on revolve, while beigey on shopbop. honestly been waiting for luggage to get into markdown, but since maple is now... oh oh what to do?!

Reporting back on the velvet Maple Diego..so the color isn't as luggage-y as I was hoping for...I'd say it's more of a caramel brown, but not as orange. It's a really nice color brown, but one of the studs on the bag is super oxidized or something and a lot darker than the rest. Sorta disappointed. The color on Shopbop is probably most accurate, but maybe a touch more on the orange side. I'll probably be sending Diego back soon, so keep an eye out on Forward if you're interested!

I was surprised how roomy the Diego actually is...and I didn't find the drawstring too awkward--maybe a bit since I use a long wallet. I really like Diego's effortless style, but I think I may wait for a pebbled leather one!
