In case any UK PF'ers are curious about Aloha Rag and customs charge (i know i kept doing forum searches and couldn't find a definitive asnwer!)

I ordered my Diego Bucket from Aloha Rag for $825 (free Fed Ex tracked shipping), they declared $206 on the customs form and i have just received my Fed Ex bill with the customs charge of £35.09 (£25.09 VAT and £10 handling charge)

OMG i NEED to order from them! Unfortunately they don't carry the baby Rocco which was my last AW purchase but the Diego is on my wishlist so i will def keep them in mind if/when i decide to go for it,

^^^ i know i'm hoping they'll stock the Darcy or the mini Rocco in Luggage (those fabulous photos posted on the other AW threads have me hooked!!) Their customer service was fantastic and it arrived in the UK within 4 days. The other thing was that with the time difference i usually got any responses to emails at about 21:30 22:00 our time which i think is their morning time. They did have the black/black baby for $695.

I totally recommend the Diego bucket, i read on here that it is very heavy and hard to get in to but i've found it infinitely lighter and easier to use than a Chloe Paddington and i love that i can carry it across the body 'hands free' when i'm shopping. It is hard to reach in to the pockets when you are carrying it on the straps (harder for pick pockets too?!) but when i'm sat down and reaching in to the bag or paying for something and i put it on the counter to get my purse out the straps slacken and it's easy to get in. I keep my phone in the back pocket to be able to reach in and pull it out easily. I LOVE this bag!

Thanks for that you have just totally convinced me to get the leopard that I've been agonising over for the past couple of months! If it's better than the Paddy I think I can handle it. The Rocco is crazy heavy though.

I really love the A. Wang diego bucket bag especially in Leopard print its fabulous , I looked everywhere to have that bag , do you have any idea where could i find it???

If not I'll stick with the plain leather one but also confused which color to purchase black, tan, forest green or mustard??

I finally have my own Diego Bucket!!! I bought it at Barney's on my holiday in NY. I was planning to get either the Forest or Black/brass Diego buuuut the forest Rocco had some spots that faded that made me nervous and i already have the Rocco in Black/brass. I saw this colour and I fell for it straight away. I hadn't seen it online though maybe I missed it being on holidays and all. The SA said it was called 'Navy' but its more a deep purple. Here she is:

I got one of the first black/brass Rocco's (pre-shoulder strap) and I think the Rocco is slightly heavier. Having said that I also think the newer Rocco's aren't as heavy as the original batch.

I got used to carrying a linea pelle medium tote which was full to the brim with nappy gear and bottles whilst on holidays (where I bought this) so my Diego definitely doesn't feel as heavy as that! I can't put in as much in this bag compared to the linea pelle so for me it isn't as heavy.

To be honest I was expecting it to weigh more. I think also because of the different ways you can carry it (cross body, or over the shoulder) you can distribute weight as you see fit... but i guess you can do that with the new Roccos as well. I'll try and weigh my bag when i get home to the scales :)
