OOH, i was wondering, now that you received your donna, which one you liked more: the donna or the max? because i totally missed out on the max for more than half off on ebay yesterday after i read the seller's feedback and got quite a handful of negative feedback from the buyers saying that they never received pretty expensive items like christian louboutins... now i can't get the max out of my head and i'm hoping i miraculously come across one online!

now i'm kind of wondering if i should just settle for the donna in luggage on shopbop (it's been on sale for a while, and i really do love this colour), but was wondering which one you liked more?

ALSO, important question: how heavy are the two different bags? heavy bags are a dealbreaker to me, and the rocco/coco were soooo heavy!

I would never trade my shoulder strap ever again. It's the best! As you can remove it, you still have "the original" version if you want to.

I've been in love with the donna forever, but I ended up liking the max more. I feel like it's more edgy and really adds a one-two punch to a tshirt and jeans. It is much heavier than the donna though, I assume because of the hardware on the shoulder strap. I don't wear it crossbody often because I'm rather busty and it cuts inbetween my ladies. Just as an over the shoulder is nice and smooshy, though it tends to fold in half. The max also has LOADS of pockets, and two main large compartments. The donna is much smaller imho. I think the donna that's in at shopbop is the one I returned. Luggage is a lovely color, but it was too small and the hardware made no sense to me. Nice, worn-in looking bag with shiny shiny silver hardware was a real turnoff for me. Max has really nice antiquey brass hardware.

Thanks very much for your quick reply! Yeah, good thing that the Donna in Luggage is sold out now on shopbop because I wasn't IN LOVE with it and I guess I would've just been settling for a bag just because of the good price.

I'm still hoping I come across a Max soon because I love the size and like you said, the way it just adds a lot to a simple outfit. I also love how it doesn't scream "fanny pack".

I had the original and it was a pain w/out the strap for me, but I'm used to totes, b-bags, basically since I live in the city I like having a strap. You can take the strap off or adjust its length, personally I think it makes the bag sooo much better. FYI the newer bag is also much lighter in weight.

Here's my Eniko.. love the slouchiness pebbliness of it, it's even more pebbly than my rocco :D super convenient to grab on the go with any outfit!
