aliciasrealm Thank you @appletv and @collider for the invite to watch Murderbot Episodes 4 and 5 on the big screen!!! Following the screening, there was a Q&A with Alexander Skarsgård, Chris Weitz, and Paul Weitz, plus surprise guest Jack McBrayer!!
I am a huge fan of Murderbot and have read all the books, so I was incredibly excited when I heard that Apple TV+ was developing a show based on the books. I was even more thrilled to know that author @marthawellswriter would be heavily involved. They nailed the casting and even brought The Rise and Fall of Sanctuary Moon to the screen!
The series gets better with each episode and I LOVED the episodes that we watched tonight! Skarsgård has done such a fantastic job in his role as Murderbot and it's so clear that Chris and Paul have great respect for the source material. I look forward to watching the rest of the series and already begging AppleTV to renew for Season 2 - WE NEED TO MEET ART!! 🥺

I have not read the books, so I can’t speak on the accuracy in that aspect, but I will say that the cast is brilliant and I have enjoyed every episode so far.

fm_1028 Last night I had the pleasure of visiting the historic Culver City Theater for a special Collider screening of the new episode of Murderbot, followed by a live Q&A featuring the show creators Paul Weitz and Chris Weitz, star Alexander Skarsgård, and a special surprise appearance by Jack McBrayer!
It was awesome getting to hear all of them talk about making the show, and I got to sit directly across from Jack during the Q&A! This was my third time actually getting to see him within the past month, and he was as delightful as always.
Unfortunately Jack and Alexander were quickly ushered out of the theater as soon as the Q&A concluded, so I was unable to get a picture with the two of them (I would have especially loved to take a third photo with Jack haha), but I was fortunate enough to have Alexander autograph my copy of Godzilla Vs. Kong as he was being escorted out! I also got to meet the creators of the show in the lobby of the theater after the screening and not only got a picture with the both of them but also got their autographs on my ticket!

From the very beginning of shooting, this cast and crew became a family. Never in my time working in the film industry have I ugly cried on the last day of production because we had to say goodbye to such an incredible experience.
I have so much love for the cast and crew and it’s a time in my life I will always remember with joy.
DO YOURSELVES A FAVOUR AND WATCH #MURDERBOT on @appletv
