For all the hype and "spoilers", this episode turned out to be good from an exposition standpoint, but not from a OMG ep.
i'm thinking that next week might be having more omg moments.
Some cracking spoilers in this link. Again, WARNING, there are True Blood spoilers in this link.

I'll have a crack at some speculation. Bearing in my mind these are my own thoughts and not spoilersEither way this is a mid-season episode and we usually have some big things going on, so I'm looking forward to the episode.
1. Nup - no idea..SS's parents?
2. Jess, Jason and Sarah Newlin
3. Nora
4. Gran
5. Sam and Alcide
Edit: Nope the wording of five - Alcide can't be in it..lol. Pam vs Tara?
I loved the ep. A couple of "nope, nope, nope, nope" moments. I think Steve is going to have an interesting confrontation with one Sheriff next week. No Godric this time.
So many characters could be the one that bites it permanently. And that was a good cliffhanger.
Hey Free, you totally nailed numbers 1 & 2. 3&4 are kind of ambiguous and make sense after seeing this ep, but would have been hard to guess before. #5, who knew it would be the two who were in the situation (trying not to spoil by saying their names)From the Wetpaint spoilers from last week:
1. After Benlow proclaims his love for Sookie, someone from her past walks in and physically takes control of the situation — and you won’t see it coming.
2. A shocking almost-hook-up changes a relationship forever, and later, one half of the duo in question walks in on the aftermath of her former love’s tryst. Awkward alert!
3. More than one huge reveal about a character made us gasp out loud, and said intel may cost someone his or her life.
4. Forget everything you know about at least one person’s death — everything changes with one flashback. This new information also leaves someone’s life hanging in the balance.
5. Prepare for a Gladiator-meets-Hunger Games style battle between two people that no one wants to see die.

I thought the major character was going to die this week based on spoilers. During this ep, I could see any number of them going to their final death, but it didn't happen. I'm still on tenterhooks waiting for that to happen. Maybe, next week?
I am really enjoying this season. I haven't commented on individual episodes until this week. I think that the shows are tight and I do like the storylines. Maybe going from 12 to 10 episodes have forced them to streamline the stories.
@squirrel. Totally agree!
Thanks for the pics Santress.
BTW. Does anyone else think the grey sweater Alex is wearing makes him look kind of Gandpa-ish. Sure doesn't do anything for his killer body, and the sweat stains don't help any.![]()
