Both the Eric/Willa and the Ben stuff had site mentioning those possible storylines. I had no problems believing the Ben storyline, but was resistant to the E/W one, mainly because I'm not sure that's the smartest move Eric's made.

I have not a clue how the storylines are going to play out, which is annoying, and yet very exciting.

On the other head, Alex as Eric was very, very hot.

I predict an epic showdown between Billith and Warlow over Sookie,with the blood exchange between E/S messing it up for them. In the books that has great significance. We'll see...

Andy shot to the top of my list to be worried about but also curiously Laffy whose storyline has been almost an afterthought of Sam's so far.

Alex's scenes were great..full of intensity. Also, now four of his closest are at Camp...

I'm thinking the 'we will be as one' from two years ago is going to play a part in this season.

In 2011 they didn't announce renewal until August. Last year it was the beginning of July, but it also started a week earlier than it did this year.

So, to make a bold prediction, I think we'll know the fate of TB within a month! :)

Off topic: been @ the hospital all day (and still here) but I am YAHOOING all over the place. My liitle boy got an all clear!!! Only a checkup in 6 months!! NO MORE HOSPITALS!!!!!

To be fair, my mention of Free's insight was that her Benlow prediction predated anything else on the blog scene and I for one hadn't signed up yet, so maybe in the future she'll post publicly to get some credit. That being said, interested to see how it it unwinds. I'm sure the Bill allusion will lead to Billith encounters since "she" made him.

Am I the only one who actually subscribes to HBO? Now I am worried about Alex's salary...

And for Free's son...yahOO!

nice to hear your good news Free-

just watched the episode - we had a sweet sixteen party to attend and so I had to tape it and wait til now to watch -

what I like about this season is that a lot if happening and the story moves forward with each episode. I like spunkier Sookie being back when she is single she seems more interesting than when she is mooning over either Bill or Eric. I love the Jessica character and that she has a lot to do this season seems to me to add a lot. Don't shoot me but - I am not a Bill fan - he just takes himself too seriously but his role this year is so consistent with his taking himself too seriously - except of course now he is flat out messianic!

I have a bit of a problem with the whole Eric thing though - he has all along been cautious and smart - but now he just does flat out dumb stuff. He thought that Willa - who was not the most stable seeming human - would be able as a new vamp to deal effectively with her Daddy? That just doesn't seem like the sort of error Eric would make. I see the whole Willa storyline as being about - Eric has no one to fornicate with - and we fans need our sexy vamp - so let's make up this plot line that allows Eric to be shirtless as often as possible and have sexy scenes. Now I do not object to the sexy or shirtless ( if he was going to take his shirt off to sleep in the ground with Willa - why oh why not his pants too?) In his thousand years as a vamp he only makes one progeny - but suddenly he turns this not very compelling personality and not terrible attractive girl either - cause he thinks it will soften the governor's heart? Our Eric should know what this Gov is about is power - there ain't gonna be no heart softening here. So the whole Willa storyline seems gratuitous and not the ruthless yet having some lingering humanity Eric we know. I do admit though the way they echo past iconic films is cool.

Cate, agree, although its possible Eric also hoped his progeny would rip her father to pieces. Some of this definitely doesn't connect with his earlier seasons speech to Pam about leaving newborns to themselves. So..to be seen, but I'm guessing thisis an awful idea, shirt or no shirt.

I think Eric hasn't accounted for the religious zealot with experience, that lurks behind the Governor aka: Sarah Newlin. In my mind, she's more dangerous.

On that note I hope Anna Camp and Alex have some scenes...she won't forget his face in a hurry after the scene at FOTS , and this new place just seems an advanced version of that.

Willa won't make it to Season 7, and I think that will provide some good emotional scenes for Alex.

And kudos to Stephen Moyer..making Billith the bad guy I love to hate. He's had some good scenes too.
