I guess Zal's picture worked. Lol at these stories about them dating. On the other hand, I would think they would be above that kind of baiting press attention since they seem to want to be taken seriously as artists.

Looking forward to True Blood's premiere on Tuesday. Love suit Akars.

Ok, it's too inappropriate to post, but as usual, Michael K on Dlisted has the best take on the "love match" with Skars and Ellen. Including their celebrity nickname and how Zal should man up and tell us what's happening.

Ms Kiah, always possible they're fronting this a bit, but I honestly don't think they care enough to bother (now, maybe Zal does). The East isn't World War Z, which has Brad running to every Metroplex in the US to get attention...

I don't think they actually care, but if they do it's only enough to play with the gossips, like Kaiser, who think this is serious.

Michael K may be one of the snarkiest, if not the snarkiest gossip, out there. And he's also probably the one with the strongest current of common sense and critical thinking skills among them.

Now, could they be dating? Oh, certainly.

I met Alexander Skarsgard yesterday. The brief moment where we touched (ok, shook hands) was almost -but-not-quite-captured-for-posterity by my friend who was in charge of the camera.

I thought my friend had moved forward with me when I approached Alex. But clearly, I was mistaken.*

So if by chance anyone who was outside the California theater in Berkeley happened to get a shot of the girl in pink in a wheelchair (me) having a moment with Alex lol, I’d be eternally grateful if you could get it to me.

No, seriously. Ellen Page and Alexander Skarsgard are TOGETHER. We can spin conspiracy theories all day long, but I really think they’re telling us that they are together. I know, many of you think she’s a lesbian. I think it’s possible she’s bisexual. At the very least, she got one look at the Skarsdong and decided that maybe she could totally be bisexual or Skarsexual. The photo evidence has been right in front of us for months, you just won’t believe it! Anyway, Ellen and Alex’s friend (and director of The East) Zal Batmanglij tweeted this photo over the weekend, posting it with the message “This reminds me of shooting. When we’d lie in the grass listening to Toby practice Rostam’s piano piece. #TheEast”. Ellen retweeted it with the message “Canadian tuxedo party”. Which is funny.

They’ve been dating for a year, and their romance seems to be going from strength to strength. And Alexander Skarsgard and Ellen Page looked more in love than ever as they took some time out from promoting their new movie, The East, over the weekend.

Cuddling up to each other as they kicked back in a San Francisco park, the Swedish actor could be seen planting a tender kiss on his girlfriend’s cheek as she reclined happily in his arms.

Smiling coyly as her 36-year-old beau wrapped his arm around her shoulder, the Juno star looked the absolute picture of contentment as she enjoyed some quality time with her man.

The intimate snap was shared on Twitter by The East director Zal Batmanglij, who accompanied the duo on their promotional trip to San Francisco.

Writing alongside the adorable picture, he wrote: ‘This reminds me of shooting. When we’d lie in the grass listening to Toby practice Rostam’s piano piece. #TheEast.’

It was a flying visit for the couple, with Ellen and Alexander spotted arriving back at Los Angeles International Airport on Sunday after completing their duties.

The couple have been dating for a year and were first seen on a date at the Stanley Cup final in June 2012 after meeting on the set of The East the previous winter.

This "Alexander Skarsgard And Ellen Page Are Doing It" Thing Is Really Happening

Even after all the "double bearding" blind items, the pictures of them at a Stanley Cup finals game and the pictures of them cuddling at a premiere, I never believed that either Alexander Skarsgard and Ellen Page were a real couple or that publicists were trying to pass them off as a real couple, but apparently it's happening. That's what the Daily Mail says, anyway. For those of you hoping that now that Kristen Stewart is single she's going to bump greasy hipster 'ginas with Ellen Page, keep hoping. It's not going to happen anytime soon.

The Daily Mail says that ASkars and Ellen have been dating for about a year and this past weekend the director of their movie The East, Zal Batmanglij, tweeted a picture of them "looking more in love than ever" while hanging out in a park in San Francisco. The "looking more in love than ever" words came from the Daily Mail. To me, it looks more like a father is kissing his trucker toddler daughter goodbye before she has to go out and make deliveries in her rideable Tonka Truck.

That picture still doesn't really prove anything and I'm waiting for Zal Batmanglij to tell us what's really going on. A man with the word "Batman" in his last would never ever lie to us.

And if Ellen Page really is using suction cups to climb a naked Mt. ASkars to suck on his face, then I really, really need to update the "lesbian detector" app on my Gaydar. If they are doing it for real and this just isn't some stunt to promote their movie, what should their couple name be? AgeSkar? ElleXa? No, their couple name should definitely be WhatTheF*ck.

Note: For my money, the comments on these stories are almost more entertaining than the story itself. People are really in a lather over this. My two cents is that I think they're good friends, and most people who are insisting they're a couple don't seem to take in that this is normal behaviour for him with his co-stars and friends. He's an affectionate dude.

Playing devil's advocate; if it's true, and they are dating, he could do worse, and has. Just sayin'.
