I just have to share this photo of handsome Alex on the cover, among others, of TV Guide Magazine :p
(dated June 3-9, 2013, special issue).
Inside there is a short article about True Blood, upcoming season 6.

More from last night's Q&A for The East (June 1, 2013):

@EllenPage Amazing movie. Great performance from you, as always. #TheEast #Alexanderskarsgard

The East did great box office-wise this weekend (per screen avg). Granted, it only showed in 4 theaters, but still there was obvious interest. WMK is also doing well as they increase the number of theaters they're showing in. I just hope that eventually one of these movies will come to BFE where I live.

I saw that earlier, and thought those were good numbers for both. If WMK continues to do well, maybe it'll actually get to my little theater

Here's Deadline's article:

Though honestly, forget about Alex's movies, I want to see this one: Axe Giant: The Wrath Of Paul Bunyan. I'm sure that's some high quality film making right there! :)

Hey, don't dis this movie. I'm from Cleveland, originally, and the director is from there. He's my homie. I'll fight you to the death if you make fun of him. :nono: (just kidding). It sounds like we both live in areas where indie movies take a while to get to. It kills me, 'cause we moved from an urban area where this movie is showing, to an area where it probably won't show, and I'll have to wait until it comes out on DVD (sigh)

the movie biz is beyond my comprehension - The East cost 6.5 million to make and then all the costs of promotion and in its opening weekend it makes $75,000? They have a long road to go before makin their profit!

WMK - it would be so impressive if that could pick up some awards - with the great reviews - I would bet Onata could maybe get some noms?? LOL - Alex carrying her to the stage at the oscars!

A few more from Saturday's Q&A:

“Do I look prettier by proxy, or does it just make me look worse sstanding next to him?
#alexander skarsgard #way too handsome.”

-jonjos @ instagr.am

Zal Batmanglij and Alexander Skarsgard at the Arclight Hollywood talking about The East. Smart dudes, presented themselves and the picture well.

That's for four theaters. It's following the pretty standard indie movie rollout, open in a few theaters in NYC and LA and then other cities after that.

This is from an interview with Alex and Ellen Page about the East.
There has been so many links and interviews posted but I thought this part of the interview was funny:

Q: What did you Google in preparation for these roles?
Skarsgård: I did what I always do and just Googled myself.
Page: And I Googled pictures of Alexander Skarsgård.
Skarsgård: We do that every Sunday.
Page: I was like, “Oh, is that who I get to work with?! Yeah, that’s nice.” I typed in “Alexander Skarsgård sex scene,” and then I hit images.
Skarsgård: Sexy boy!
Page: Dang! He’s got a body. Okay.
