I felt exactly the same about that shirt and even spent time wondering if it was some sort of weird reflection, or napkin :hrmm: even the coat and the hat seem so out of character :shrugs: Although having checked on that photo one last time, in a :wtf: kind-of-a-way, I wonder if Alex is sitting opposite a stained glass window, wearing a plain white - no that doesn't work either. The more I see of this photo, the more I don't like it :shucks: Too many questions but then I am very tired so I guess I'm guilty of projecting again :sad:

That was my first thought, that it's one of his multitudes of white tees and it's just a reflection. I do like the hat though. Ah, the mysteries of the universe! :smile1:

Well, it's no secret I'm totally digging the Wonderland shoot so I'm pretty happy with the hat. But he'll be only one of many with that in Berlin ... our little hipster. :D

No, it isn't. I'm a bit picky when it comes to food, so eating in complete darkness is not my thing. :shame:

I think Alex will like the area around the Soho House. With all the hip, coffee sipping Swedes hanging around there, he should feel almost like at home. :D

Yeah it isn't my thing either. I like to see what I eat. I wonder how many spit noises you hear as soon as the food is in the mouth and people don't like it. It's like a Darkroom (I'm sure there's a different term in English) for Foodies.

That's for sure. Swedes like Berlin in general. They even compared Prenzl'berg with Södermalm a few years back. But I have to tell you Swedes are taking over. I was in Dresden last weekend (for shopping of course) and I heard Swedish everywhere (ok most of it was at the H&M's but still). Spanish and Swedish tourists (armed with their iPads) are the thing there right now. :p But who can blame them? It's a beautiful city.
Have you been to Bandol Sur Mer in Berlin? I hear lots of good things about it but never made it there.

AAAAGH THAT F-ING HAT!!! NO SKARS, NO!! ok, that was required before everyone had their revisted lovefest on that gawd-awful Wonderland-from-hell shoot. Ugh. I prefer the baseball hat to that and I think he looks not at all good with that hat either. Is that really a new pic? something about the jacket looks familiar but not recent...

And, German friends, go! Go get you some Encounters...we want to hear.

Friends of mine really like Bandol, but I try to avoid places that sell foie-gras, so I've never been there.

I guess the Entcounter launch in Berlin will be a bit hushed and no wild party tonight because about an hour ago the news said that the famous german comedian Dirk Bach died today at the age of 51. :sad:
