Well, that makes 3 Skarsgårds in August. I think they should change the month's name from August to Skarsgård since they won't stop partying anyway. :p

Now I truly believe they get bored during the wintermonths, as Alex once said hahaha!
If he continues to make babies he can start his own Viking-soccerteam soon:woohoo:
Does anyone know how to pronounce Kålbjörn? (No, of course I am not curious at all- once again ) I am practicing now and I sound like a fool, my man is looking at me like he thinks I'm going insane:laugh:

Well, the Kål part is like the gård part in Skarsgård so it's Koal but I have no clue how to explain björn to someone who's not able to say it (I know Björn so it's easy). Maybe like byörn? To conclude I think it's Koalbyörn.

Only 4 left for the football team.

Congrats, Stellan & Meg!
...and Alex, on your new little brother.:smile1:

Aftonbladet has updated the baby's name in their article from Kålbjörn to Kolbjörn which all the baby sites are saying means black bear in Swedish.

TrueBloodHBO tweeted this promo pic today:

Geez, that's an awesome promo pic but decidedly ill-timed with what went down in NYC. :hrmm:

Congratulations to Stellan and Meg - another boy! :D What a beautiful, strong name.

Thanks for the update on the name. Stellan is some stud. 36 years between oldest and youngest. I don't know what the standard number of kids/family is in Sweden, but he's like the Swedish Duggar dad. At least we know the Skarsgard name won't die out anytime soon.

My brother and sister live in NY, and I texted them that line during the TB episode when it aired. It was terrible what happened today, but apparently the guy was only after one person, as opposed to mowing down anyone he could. It doesn't make it right, but thankfully, the least amount of people were hurt.

What a beautiful image, Free. You always find very unique and beautiful pictures.

Off Topic: Count von Count puppeteer passed away yesterday. RIP Jerry Nelson.

Congrats to Megan & Stellan and the whole Skarsgård-Clan!

My maternal family speaks swedish with the dialect spoken in the Kalmar region, so to us the pronounciation of Kål ( = cabbage) and Kol (= coal or carbon) is the same; like the english pronounciation of coal but a bit more like cold without the d at the end.
But if you just hear it (like the reporter from aftonbladet), one can mistake Kolbjörn (= black bear) for Kålbjörn (cabbage bear) :D .....and if Stellan and his Clan are gonna call him Kol, might create some difficulties with other kids teasing him in the future.
But hey, they are Skarsgårds and got a good sense of humor. And I guess, that even Megan thinks it's funny to call her son cabbage. ;)

Thanks a bunch to all of you Ladies for the pics, vids & news!

Well, there also happened some justice in Oslo today. Breivik got the maximum sentence for his cruel doings. He'll never see the light of day again (figuratively speaking).

Didn't he get 21 years? 21 years for taking 77 lives. That doesn't add up to justice for me. Not even a year for each life. Not even 6 months. Its good he's been put away though. He showed no remorse for his actions and was only sorry he didn't kill more. I'd stamp that MF's file with "Never to Be Released". I understand its the heaviest sentence and that the families are relieved. That is something.

Sorry. Back on Topic.

Yeah but Norway doesn't have the death penalty so this is the best you'll get. And it's 21 years plus preventive detention. So basically prison again. If it helps you he'll die in prison and when even the families can live with this sentence I'm sure we can too. It's better than declaring him insane, getting him in a psychiatry and maybe he's been released after 10 or 15 years. It's not like in America where you get 3 times a life sentence or something.

I think it was broken down to 3 1/2 months for each person he killed. i think its BS.

Its the 25th here so Happy Birthday Alex :partyhat::party:

Congratulations to Stellen and Megan on their little boy. I hope Alex can take some time off to visit.
I dont know how Eija can handle 7 brothers, i can barely handle my 2 older brothers.

Ja, he got 21 years + 10 years preventive detention, so he will be imprisoned for 31 years. During his time in jail he got 3 cells on his own to use, one as a bedroom, one as a living room with home office (+ a computer without internet access) and a gym.
I'm not one of these 'an eye for an eye' folks, but in somehow it seems unfair to me - even though I've been raised with the northern european attitude that even prisoners got human rights. But I guess Breivik is so narcissistic and will use his time and gonna write a book about his case, which will end up as a best seller.:mad::censor:

That's my point. European laws still have always this human rights aspect to them hence no death penalty. In Germany you hardly get 15 years for anything. Then you really must have f*cked up or f*cked over the state with tax fraud or something. They just worked over the preventive detention law a few years ago which is pretty late. So I just wanted to say those 31 years are pretty harsh (but fair) for European standards.

You're right on that.
But what pi**ed me off is the fact, that he was standing there in court smiling like he was winning and didn't get the imprisoned in a mental institution (what was his personal fear)........but now he got a 2-room-apartment plus gym
You know what I mean?!

Is he going to keep the three room suite now that he's actually convicted and sentenced?
Perhaps they could drop him (with a tent, to be nice) on some rock in the Norwegian Sea?

(goes back to happier thoughts by staring at Alex pics and hoping for new ones).

Death is too quick for him. I may be wrong but doesn't Iran? have a system where the 'wronged' person can specify the sentence, as in the lady who wanted to pour acid into a man's eyes, something along those lines sounds good to me. And Kayleigh, judging from all the expressions I've seen on the Norwegian police's faces over the past year they will exact their revenge.

Above all else Norway has maintained it's dignity and shown itself to be a fair and just country.

lv & hugs to you all
xx
