She looks so healthy (skin, hair, body) and happy in those pictures. It's hard to believe she's aged so much in such a short time. Hard living, I guess.

Asprey, do you know what caused the breakup with Matt? And is he the same Matt she was having lunch with a few months ago?

Yes, it's the same guy.I have no idea why they broke up.

Well, Duh? He drinks like a viking!

Someone needs to message her to see if this was taken at the pool party or actually at Coachella.

Nevermind. I think I answered my own question...This is at Coachella. He didn't appear to be drinking during the day at the pool party.

Oh lord, I hope that doesn't mean she'll still be around 1-2 more years.

EDIT: I guess I should get back to bed since it's 3 AM here. Goodnight ladies. Talk to you tomorrow.

As far as the smile she had at the airport, it's the same lunatic grin she had after he got into that scuffle at Coachella 2010, which really made me despite and dislike her more.

I'm curious that as much as we know he likes his drink, why he's never been caught in some kind of drunken PDA with her when his defenses are down? Just surprised that there have been none in all this time, especially since she seemed to always like to touch him in public and that would be "the money shot" people pay to see.

This just reinforces my idea that they have a business relationship. They show up together occassionally to keep people speculating. He doesn't speak about their relationship because there really isn't one to speak about. It's amazing how affectionate he can be with anyone but her.

If she can't say oui, oui in the language she studied throughout HS, I'd love to hear her butcher Swedish.

Btw, I'm sure she and Cher would have already had the KB inspired Tackymint engangement ring to hawk already to commemorate the special occasion just like the other blue bloods, Kate and Will.:p
I am waiting for her to do the Cotton commercial in Swedish. And you didn't know that she and Cher are designing the engagement ring, wedding ring and c*ck ring collection?

Maybe the whole purpose of the charade is to sell the upcoming Tackymint 'Love and Engagement' collection. And people will flock to buy the rings because the love they've seen exhibited between these two is so obvious and real. :lolots::giggles: [Note: This is sarcasm, for those who read words literally].

Oho it's gone from bad to worse

Lvt is banned from the festival
http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2011/05/19/lars-von-trier-persona-non-grata-banned-canes_n_863996.html

Lars von Trier said he was sorry "if he hurt someone" with his remarks claiming to be a Nazi at the Cannes Film Festival on Wednesday, but the Festival's directors weren't exactly buying the apology. And now he's going to be very sorry for his bizarre rant.

The organizers of perhaps the world's most prestigious film festival announced early on Thursday that von Trier is now a "persona non grata" at Cannes, meaning that he has been banned from the festival.

Their official statement, via Deadline:

The Festival de Cannes provides artists from around the world with an exceptional forum to present their works and defend freedom of expression and creation. The Festival’s Board of Directors, which held an extraordinary meeting this Thursday 19 May 2011, profoundly regrets that this forum has been used by Lars Von Trier to express comments that are unacceptable, intolerable, and contrary to the ideals of humanity and generosity that preside over the very existence of the Festival.
The Board of Directors firmly condemns these comments and declares Lars Von Trier a persona non grata at the Festival de Cannes, with effect immediately.

The comments in question came in a pres conference after the Danish auteur, so often provocative with his comments, debuted his new Kirsten Dunst-starring film, "Melanocholia," to mostly rave reviews.

"The only thing I can tell you is that I thought I was a Jew for a long time and was very happy being a Jew, then later on came [Danish and Jewish director] Susanne Bier, and suddenly I wasn't so happy about being a Jew. That was a joke. Sorry. But it turned out that I was not a Jew. If I'd been a Jew, then I would be a second-wave Jew, a kind of a new-wave Jew, but anyway, I really wanted to be a Jew and then I found out that I was really a Nazi, because my family is German. And that also gave me some pleasure. So, I, what can I say? I understand Hitler. I think he did some wrong things but I can see him sitting in his bunker. I'm saying that I think I understand the man. He is not what we could call a good guy, but yeah, I understand much about him and I sympathize with him ... But come on! I'm not for the Second World War. And I'm not against Jews. No, not even Susanne Bier. I am very much for them. As much as Israelis are a pain in the ass. How do I get out of this sentence? Okay, I am a Nazi. As for the art, I'm for Speer. Albert Speer I liked. He was also one of God's best children. He has a talent that ... Okay, enough.
"
While his sly smile and deadpan delivery clued the assembled press into the fact that he was kidding -- though he has said in the past that he admires the Nazi aesthetic -- the apology wasn't enough for Cannes, or for the Argentinian distributor for his film, which also announced that it was distancing itself from von Trier on Thursday.

“In view of the unacceptable statements expressed by filmmaker Lars Von Trier at today’s press conference in the Cannes Film Festival and his evident Nazi declaration - which is offensive for the Jewish people and human kind in general, Distribution Company SA, owner of the distribution rights for the film Melancholia in the Southern Cone, has decided to cancel the contract that linked it to the film.
We clearly condemn Mr. Lars Von Trier’s statements and will not support or release his film in the country.”

Oh My Freakin' God!!!! LVT has an extraordinary talent for stepping on his own d*ck! Seriously. He should have punched a couple of widows and slapped some babies while he was at it. What a way to p*ss off the masses. Poor Alex, poor Kiki, poor everybody. LVT is a known nutjob but you would have thought he'd rein it in for the press conference.

No one can see it now the distribution peeps canceled, what about the American distributors, dont they have different distributor for each country ?

Yes, I think I remember someone posting who was the distributor here in the states. We'll just have to wait 'til the dust settles on this one. This is just too sad, all the actor's hard work being overshadowed by this.

But doesn't he (LvT) do something like this every year? I'm not excusing him-- what he said is horrible. But he clearly has foot-in-mouth syndrome. It's nothing new.

And I'm sure someone else in Argentina will pick up the film and he'll be back at Cannes next year. I just feel bad for Kirsten-- she might not win any awards now plus all of this has overshadowed all of the actors hard work. The movie looks amazing from the clips.
