Cooki, I agree they seem to be grasping at straws with the bf report, but I didn't believe the CM stories at first until we got that little inside scoop from one of our ladies here, now I can't help but wonder, just a bit, if it's true. She does seem to enjoy the attentions of men ... any men. The problem with this sort of shabby reporting is, they mix lies with truth then blow it into something ridiculous, leaving us with more questions about which parts are fact and which are fiction.
We know there were problems at WoW even though they seemed to iron them out the next day. Next, she wasn't at the Puss or Emmy red carpet events (or the after parties) and we know she was in LA working on her jewelry line. I think we can all agree, these events she missed are the very things she lives for. I'm with you that we need pictures. And I'm at the point where I don't care if they're pro or con as far as their relationship goes, I just want to know the truth.
Some of it is bound to be true, I personally believe the CM thing, she's been dropped like a bad habit. But when it comes to random "relationship" comments, Alex doesn't have all that many Hwood friends, and certainly not ones he'd be likely to confide relationship issues with. I remember an interview with Carrie Preston and Rutina Westley where they said they didn't ask about Alex's love life. And I'll bet most of the HWood connections don't pry, nor does he blabs about it to any of them.
Her spreading stories through her sources is likelier, she's been around longer, but even so, seems really convenient, there's always a "friend" or "eyewitness" with just the right account to fit the story. And the stories contradict themselves a lot. I usually trust the info a lot more when they aren't "close friends" confiding to gossip rags. Some friends they'd be if they did that!
I have a hard time explaining how I separate the 2 types of observers. But I trust the source a lot more when the account is of a more generalized nature instead of a play-by-play, unless I know who the source is or where the information comes from. Unnamed castmembers work sometimes, so do reports form the TB premiere, or the soccer game reports. Someone that even if they remain unnamed, are more than a generic "eyewitness" that a gossip rag miraculously found.
And me too, but as other stated, there won't be an official break-up since there was never an official relationship statement. I have a feeling that is this "too good to be true" scenario does come true, we'll only be certain if we don't see them together, or if we start seeing either of them with someone else. We'll be left standing by for who knows how long, if that's the case. And yea, it irritates me as well.
