I know! Isn't it gorgeous? If you go to the site, you can see it from all angles. The thing that kept me from getting this bag vs. the muse is that I heard it scratches pretty easily (plus I haven't seen the black version IRL yet)

Thanks for the info. I just looked at NAP's website. I noticed they have a mini and a small size. There doesn't seem to be much difference in the two sizes and the price is the same. Strange, huh? I'm not really too careful with my bags. If it scratches easily maybe I should reconsider. Hmmmm...

Yeah, pricing seems pretty arbitrary at times for these high-end bags.

Do you have a Neiman Marcus near you? I was able to take a look at the red and brown (or tan?) mini IRL. I didn't like the brown at all. It was a dullish color and already showed scratches. The red was prettier, but also had a few scratches. I heard that the area around the twist tab (?) hardware gets the most scratched, but that Appleguard works well to get out the scratches. I'm not sure how to describe it, but it's a hard smooth leather that is nice to look at.

Perhaps if you are concerned, you might consider the weaved version. They even have crochet versions. But I do like the smooth leather the best.

Oh, I meant the bag I saw IRL at Neiman Marcus was a brownish color (it must be tobacco), but the pics I posted were examples of the weaved and crocheted versions from the NM.com site.

Smooth leather version looks the best, the shape is lost in the crochet version. The ones I saw at Nordstrom already have scratches on them, I think that's the problem with Novak. Besides that, it's beautiful!!!

I have a black leather one. It definitely shows scratches but I still love it.

I've never seen Alexander McQueen bags at my local NM. I"ll have to ask the SA. I think I like the leather ones better too. I'll see if I can't find one to look at IRL.
