I'm looking at a few pieces but debating between gold or silver. How do they hold up? Do they tarnish? I only wear silver so should I stick to silver or get some gold for texture?

Edit: I couldn't wait for a response so I went ahead and got the gold om bangle and the silver lotus bangle. I bought them on Amazon so they should arrive tomorrow lol

When I opened the package I was shocked at how small they were and feared that they wouldn't fit. A little stretching and shaping and they fit perfectly!

They do tarnish, just take care to keep them dry. I have a few that have a "textured" look, if you will; but I don't mind it, it looks vintagey :graucho:

The ones I hang in my jewelry case fare better than ones I eave in drawers, overnight bags, etc.

They're so fun, I love the stacked look! I'll often wear a couple with my Pandora bangles.

Did you ever receive your order? If so, how long did it take. I'm still awaiting a shipment notice for some bracelets that I ordered directly from them.

I just order on Amazon because I have a prime account, everything arrives fast and free! Did you get your bracelets yet??

I think I will be ordering most of my items from Amazon as well. The only reason I ordered from their site is because they had a charm that was out of stock everywhere! I have ordered from Zeeberry and Rue La La and the shipping was pretty fast. I received my shipping notice about 2 days after I ordered from A&A so maybe they're getting better.

Yes, I got them the following wednesday (week). They told me over the phone that they were being made and that is why it took so long :sneaky:

Next time I will try and order from Amazon. Or even the store since they are opening up a location here in Annapolis, MD.

Last year I sold off all of my Alex & Ani bangles because I didn't like the way their metal would turn dark or the plating wear away in spots and was afraid that it would scratch up my sterling bracelets if I stacked them together.

Well, I can't get away from the A&A bangles, they are so popular and everyone wears them where I am. My sister gave me the protective eye wrap in gold for my birthday. I really did miss the bracelets and their jingling sound so I re bought my favorite bangles and have been eyeing other new ones to purchase.

I don't know if I'm annoyed with them again. I wear a lot of sterling silver bracelets and I love their shiny bright finish. Next to them, the A&A bangles seem so dull in luster and cheap, and the dark spots are showing up again. I know it's a totally different metal and look but I don't want to sink more money into purchasing more bracelets if I'm going to be disappointed all over again.

Can anyone weigh in on how yours have held up over time and if you've had any issues with them.

Also, I'm wondering which metal you all prefer: their Russian silver or gold? If the silver annoy me compared to my sterling, then maybe I should only get the gold. Thoughts??
