Hi Vanmiracle, do you happen to know the prices for the Ai bag? and are the colors available are those shown in the press pictures?

Please post pictures when you get one. Now that I have decided to sell my SANG A river tote (despite just getting it ), I will need to find a replacement that is more baby/kids friendly. Seeing Angelina who are always around kids getting this bag, maybe it is a good option?

Finally I was in the AKRIS store yesterday
I tried them all on. No - I don't think it is the biggest size Angelina wore in venice. I guess it is the large one. The XL is already a traveller bag.
I don't know how on earth I thought there is a blue one. No blue, but many beautiful neutreale shades. The decision is not easy ...

mclovesbags No. I didn't decide on one yet. But it is not the size but the color. I somehow got a wrong information in winter that there would be a darkblue horsehair option, but had to get to know now that there is no blue. Not in the summer 2010 nor in the fall collection. I tried the black and the grey one - the grey is very stylish and understatement, but just not my style and the black one doesn't show the horsehair effect like I would love it to be. There is an interesting darkbrown but was not in the size available which I would like to have.
There is no need to hurry for me so I will wait for the news which colors will come for Spring 2011.

w.y.h You will love the AI. It is the most lightweight big bag I ever saw. Nothing can compare to the space in the bag you will have for all kind of stuff. You have to try it on! It is the perfect all day family-life bag.
For colors:

• white
• grey
• lightbrown
• darkbrown
• black

And maybe there was something with a burgundy red?

For the price... hmmm .. swiss handmade bag from woven horsehair.

I was sure that I posted some pics when I tried the bags on in the store. Have to do a search ...

missmarbella Horsehair has its price, yes, I know. Still - it is a very special bag. If you just like the shape - the other fabrics are less than half the price like the winter-model I posted.

Akris is more popular in middle europe. It is an old swiss company with a very classic range. No logos, no brandmarks.

lovely. I just saw an Akris ad in vogue and thought I'd google it. And ended up back here at tPF of course... Love the purse collection, but above my price point.
