Happy March 1st, fellow Islanders! :flowers:

For me the question is… where did January and February go? :stars:

From winter storm to winter storm, DH’s numerous doctor appointments, and my argumentative younger sister undergoing yet more surgery, the past two months have sped past with me having barely any time for myself. :pout:

That happily is about to change today with an impromptu trip with my daughter to our favorite high end shopping experience in an exclusive area more than two hours away from my home. :queen:
In other words my friends, it’s good intentions begone and caution to the wind…. :whiteflag:

Momma’s on the prowl for another (perhaps more than one) new bag. :search:

Fim, I feel the same about January and February zooming by.
Hope your DH is somewhat ok. Ongoing health issues are hard and I remember that he had some severe maladies during the past years. All I want to say - sending good thoughts your way.
And good shopping fun. We need those „caution to the wind“ moments now and then. :)

Time is flying.
Last week, I decided to get new eyeglasses, I was sure I had bought my latest pair two years ago.
The optician said « the last time you came was February 2020… »:eek:
She told me that all those lockdowns had totally changed our perception of time.
And now I am asking myself the same question: Where did January and February go?

Happy Thursday, fellow Islanders! :wave:

During yesterday’s shopping excursion with my daughter, one particular bag caught my interest. Impractically practical, it would accommodate only my wallet, keys and phone. :pout:

But then I thought about the times I carry a tote along with even my most practical bags to accommodate files, forms, etc. with room enough to spare for any of my essentials that wouldn’t fit in a less commodious bag? :thinking:

A theory about to be put to the test today when my DH and I go to our tax preparer to have our taxes filed. :idea:

Along with my most trusty tote….

The little bag that could…did. :giggle:

I wore it crossbody both over and under my winter coat as the weather fluctuated between biting wind and a wintry mix of snow and freezing rain. :facepalm:
