Agenda reference: refills, vernis size comparison

Here are pictures of my brand new Vernis small ring agenda in pomme d'amour. My organizational system involves using a month per page calendar for general scheduling, a "one week on two pages" planner for writing down my daily activities at the end of the day, notes pages with labels for things like office or at home to-do lists, projects, "Waiting for...", "Someday/maybe", etc, and an address book. Before this, I was using a 3x5 Dayrunner with my own dividers that I had made out of index cards. The rings in the LV small agendas are too small to hold everything that I need, plus sometimes I like to be able to just take my address book or my calendar with me, without the whole agenda...so the system that I've come up with is this:
- Coach spiral-bound planning diary, with month at a glance and week per two page. I slip this into the front vertical pocket of the LV agenda.
- in the ring part I have Dayrunner 3x5 notes pages and ruler, a Dayrunner plastic zip-loc insert thing for holding stamps and stuff, and a page of LV sticky notes (because they're so cute!); I'm using Post-It flags instead of dividers (my index card dividers are too bulky for the LV rings).
- LV address book, slipped into the back vertical pocket
Now I've just got to find a pen. LV doesn't have one that goes with the pomme d'amour, and I refuse to pay $245CDN for a pen! My Cross pen goes really nicely but it doesn't fit in the pen holder.

Sialia: I love your new Red vernis agenda....If you are looking for a pen small enough to fit into your agenda pen holder, you can find one in Staples. It's by "Zebra". It's only 10 cm long & made of Stainless steel barrel. I got the "pocket pen & pencil" set for only $8 Cdn. Too bad the outside of the pen is silver & not gold (like the hardware in the agenda) There is only black ink available.

Thanks, Happy Angel. I saw that set at Staples yesterday and thought about getting it but didn't like that it was silver, not gold. I may end up getting it anyway if I can't find anything else...especially since it's only $8!
