Age Limit On Heart Pendants?

I love heart shaped jewelry. I got married on Valentine's day and I think hearts are so sentimental. I am 36 and for Christmas my DH bought me a Tiffany medium gold heart locket. I love wearing it and I don't see myself ever thinking it is to young for me. Jewelery makes you happy and when you are happy you feel and look young!

I inherited my grandmothers heart pendants. My grandfather gave them to her for thier 25th aniversary. She passed away when I was 10 and they mean so much to me. One is a brushed gold and sapphire large solid heart and the other is a thin gold with a 25 engraved on it. He had them made for her. I need to get some chains for them. I will wear them untill I hand them down to someone in my family. I never liked heart jewelry at all, but these are very special to me, so I love the hearts! Plus she called me her little heart. I think any age is ok if the jewelry means something to you and represents you in a special way.

I'm a sucker for hearts - most of my jewelry - including the tiny diamond studs I'm wearing today are heart shaped! Each time I buy a piece I try to see if it's available in heart shape or has heart accents... Pendants, earrings, ring - anything. I don't see myself not liking them as I get older, either, I still love hearts just as much as I did when I was a kid! My beautiful mother wears hearts too - so I agree with the others - if you love it, go for it!

i don't see how in the world a heart symbol piece of jewelry is only for the young. Older people still have hearts and love too.

This looks like a box chain! I'm obsessed with those!!! They are fragile, yet strong.....perfect for this heart.

Personally, I think hearts can be worn at any age.....I think the question becomes more whether you "like" them or not.

All my aunts wear gold heart lockets that their mom (my great grand mother) bought them. They are all over 50 and they look wonderful!

Heart pendants are lovely at any age... My SIL just got my Sisters (each in there 40's) and my Mother (70) a heart pendant and it looks amazing on all of them
