I love my pond & its coming with me when i die ! lol
Yeah, so there's this sort of emotional attachment. I actually bought a wristlet a while back so I've been telling myself that it was my real first purchase. Then I won't feel guilty about getting rid of the shoulder tote! I also have to realize that it's about finding what works for you and I've discovered that I love my black Legacy shoulder bag. I'd be better off having a couple of those that I'd use than a bag that I don't use.

That's very true. And the thing is, if your wristlet was your "technically" first purchase. I would just make a point to hang on to that. That way you have something sentimental in your collection.
