After That Big Reveal I Took It Back - New Reveal!

I don't think there is one! I am eyeing the smaller 25 in the turquoise with the rivets. If I find that at the outlets in 2018, I think I may snag one....

I saw that turquoise rivet bag at the boutique and it was gorgeous, I might have grabbed it except that I like the larger size. After the holidays we may see some nice bags at the outlets again.

Yippee! I got a price adjustment and my great deal just got better - and I love the bag even more! :yahoo:

All the coach.com sale bags are 50% off this weekend so my Prairie Rivets Oxblood Rogue dropped from $597 to $497.50 (retail = $995) so with the tax refund I got $110 back on my credit card!

With the $225 gift return and $150 merchandise credit, my out of pocket expenses for this thousand dollar bag was just $123 plus tax. I can't stop smiling!

I want this bag but in a 36. Didn't they have one like it in the larger style at one point?

Right now on the Holiday Sale at Coach.com they have a Black Prairie Rivets Rogue 39 for $600; reduced from $1200; the style number is 22979.

Thanks! I considered the 39 but it seems an awkward size. I haven't been able to see it IRL. Maybe I should have ordered it when they had the oxblood but that was before the 50% off. Just ordered the prairie rivets wallet in Oxblood. Hoping it goes with the oak suede Rogue I ordered yesterday. If I don't like the Rogue, I think I will keep the wallet because I hate spending a lot on a wallet but 50% off and another 12% on some of the cashback sites makes it a bit better to buy.

I don't know what you mean by "cashback sites" please explain, thanks.
There are some sites you can sign up for that will give you a certain percentage back when you shop. I don't think I can post the links because usually when they are mentioned on the forum they are censored. Google "percentage back shopping."

I've been intrigued by this oxblood rogue w/ rivets and was thinking of ordering. I saw they have the 39 in black still but really wanted oxblood since I don't have much in that color but love it. I think the 39 would droop too much over time since it is quite a bit wider than the regular rogue and a little shorter. I saw one on eBay but that one had oxblood/darker burgundy (not sure of the official name) suede instead of the red like the one currently on Coach's site. The one on ebay also doesn't have the white pearl rivet. I think this was the earlier version of this bag??? I kind of like it better with the darker suede interior. Makes it look more rich I think.

Katev, how do you like the red suede on your's?

And yes, there are several sites similar to e-Bates out there. Somehow I found a site that compares them all and you can see who is giving better rebates and how the rebates work. I put it on my toolbar and when I want to shop, I look up the company to see who has the best rebate.

What looks like white pearl rivets are actually shiny metal rivets - up close they look like gray pearls.

I like the red suede lining very much, it looks very rich with the dark hardware IMO. I've noticed before that sometimes oxblood can look dull and "muddy brown" in some lighting - but the rivet detailing and the red suede lining prevents this bag from looking dull and muddy and brings out the dark red tones in the oxblood leather on the outside of the bag - at least that's how I feel about it!

I've wanted oxblood because it is unusual and I didn't have that color in my purse wardrobe (I didn't have any rivet bags either) but I actually bought and returned 3 oxblood bags for various reasons before I got this one. It was worth the wait - she's a keeper - but everybody is different so buy what you like best.

It works if you hyphen (E-bates is 14% back at Coach today.)

Thanks, I've seen advertisements for e-bates and similar sites but I was never sure how it works. I am still unclear, do you have to shop through the cash back site or do you shop through coach.com and then apply for a rebate later?

Can you use your credit card or do you have to use Paypal? I usually prefer to use my credit card because I can return orders to the Coach store or outlet if I change my mind; instead of shipping them back for a Paypal credit.

What is the process and does it seem safe?

You are still shopping at each manufacturer's site so you would pay however you want and use the normal check out process.

All you have to do is start at the e-bates site and click "shop now" and it takes you to coach or wherever. It'll open a "shopping trip" so you can track to make sure you get the credit. They get paid for directing you to the site (like a commission) and they give a % of their "commission" to you.

It is automatically credited to you and is paid quarterly (I believe) to your PayPal account (or a physical check in the mail.)

They also have sign up and refer a friend bonuses, so make sure you take advantage of those too.

Very nice photo! I've seen the bag in person and liked it and then I saw the one online with the darker suede and they definitely both have their own look. I'd much rather have a new bag than one that is used and looks to have a stain issue on the suede (the one I saw on ebay), though. I'll have to think on it a little more. I'm waiting for the oak suede rogue to show up. If I don't like it, then I'll try the rivet oxblood one.....hoping there are some left!

i just returned mine on sunday, so it should be in the system, unless it was snatched up. i love the bag, but really need a larger one to fit my files and papers; i dont like the 39 black with rivets, but cant seem to find an oxblood one. good thing, i suppose. now i'm thinking maybe a borough, but i really love the shoulder straps (tote length) on the rogue.
