For those here who have been around the tPF block a couple of times it is easy to spot that something is off about the OP. It took me a second read through though. The TS stated that it was some majorly contributing tPF:er involved and because of the subject in the OP that was my first worry when I read it. Because some of the bags I want can only be bought pre-owned, it's a freaking angst I have of unknowingly buying and carrying a fake. The fact that the thread was not deleted gave me the impression the TS was actually discussing with the forum owners. It turned out that no, TS was not. I enjoyed it non the less, "llamas" and all. And for the record: I highly doubt it's an Authenticator? Not sure WHY someone would just automatically "Assume" it's an Authenticator?

I agree with the poster who commented on the "investigative journo's" writing. True, it's an obvious giveaway, but I have also come to be a bit careful before I'd judge how somebody uses the English language here since for a lot of posters, English is only their second or third language. And honestly, with today's educational standards, at least where I'm from, it's sometimes painful to see the editing that get's accepted for publication in some newspapers/magazines.

I think you seem a little excitable and prone to taking things the wrong way. And yet again I'm reminded to be very grateful for the lovely and always kind authenticators over at the Bal forum. Plus they've got humour
