Sounds like you want something more unique than a heart. I think you should do the palm tree.... or how about the little star? I have seen the palm tree IRL and it's precious!!!!

The Roberto Coin Tiny Treasures jewelry is so cute. Are you near a last call Neiman Marcus outlet? I sometimes see Roberto Coin jewelry there. They also seem to carry a lot of KC designs jewelry which makes some really cute delicate necklaces.

Try to go for platinum if you can swing the cost. White gold has a rhodium plating over it to make it that super white metal color. I've seen this plating wear down and reveal a duller, brassier color below with time and heavy wear.

I'm aware of that and I've been eyeing a platinum Tiffany's necklace but my wallet just isn't ready right now. I'll try to properly care the white gold and keep it out of the water as much as possible - hopefully the plating will be able to stay on for a few years.

I think you will love the Palm Tree. It think the solid WG and the diamond one are both adorable. Just depends on your budget. The plain WG one would maybe be better for an everyday piece.

You have to post pics when you get it! :)

Hi, I've found a similar palm tree necklace of Lauren Klein and the the price is great! But is the quality trustworthy? I mean like the Roberto Coin pieces have the diamonds appear to be "stucked" (?) in them and you can see the back of the diamonds when you look at the back of the pieces so it made me think that the diamonds cannot fall out easily (Sorry I'm not making any sense, am I?). And I read that the diamonds of LK are "paved" - can they fall out more easily (than the RC)?

ya i like both roberto coin and lauren klein so its totally up to, what i like about LK is that if you're on a budget you can place a best offer- thats how i got my necklace from her:)

I dont know what roberto coin means by stucked, but im sure he uses pave as well, pave is just securing tiny diamonds usually 1, 1.5 or 2 point diamonds very close together to make a piece very sparkly.

I like LK its not 18k like roberto coin but you get get some fun pieces in 14k gold and diamonds. I have bought a few of her pieces. i'll post the link to what I have. i'm pretty picky with my jewellery but i think her pieces are well done :D this is the necklace i have but its my initial "C" instead of an anchor.....HTH!
