Have you tried Helen Ficalora? She has a line of "mini" charms that are fairly new to her collection. They are available in yellow, white, and rose gold and look gorgeous. She has a peace sign, horse shoe, sailboat, different animals, butterfly, and lots more. Her website is terrible and doesn't showcase all of them but if you e-mail she will send you pictures, prices, specs. It's really nice to be able to communicate directly with her. I have a dogwood charm with a diamond that I love as well as her alphabet charms. If you PM me I can send you pictures of them.

I love Roberto Coin's Tiny Treasures collection. They are tiny and adorable and great quality! The gold w/Diamonds start around $400, and the solid gold start around $300. (You can get white or yellow gold).

Thanks for the explanation! I didn't think of it this way. I don't wear any jewelery if I work out or go swimming. Sometimes I will wear cheap cz stuff if I'm at a swimming pool, pool party, beach party etc.^I suggest gold because the OP was concerned about swimming and stuff. I've worn gold jewelry for years in the pools & beaches without any concern, but I have seen silver get pitted from the chemicals.
I've worn both white and yellow gold without detriment, so you still have choice of color.
Yellow gold is indestructible, so ITA.

I love the color of silver but its high maintainance concerns me. Platinum is my ideal option because of its durability (perfect because I'm a true wrecker lol) so it has a special place in my heart but not in my wallet *sniffle*). So now I'm aiming for white gold!
