I'd actually like DH to come around and agree to adding the long baguettes to my RB. He doesn't like 3 stone rings and thinks the HW signature is too close to one 
Here is a thread on a 4.19ct RB reset into a halo. That's the largest I've seen halo'd on PS.

gasp*** That's a huge stone! I'd say no halo, it just makes the whole piece out of proportion. Perhaps something simple. Hope your child is ok... **hugs hug**
Now I'm thinking with the size of the diamond, I'm not a fan of the halo. I do like the baguettes on either side of larger stones.
Since it didn't get caught on the way down, it should be fine. Sharp things like tacks can make their through the digestive system safely because of the lining and the fact that it's all very pliable. An earring is nowhere near as sharp. No harm done.
The worst that should happen is that you'll have to go through some poop to get the earring back.

I was assuming it didn't get caught since she didn't mention any coughing, choking, gagging, excess mucus, difficulty breathing or crying, drooling, vomiting, etc.

they're so thin . . . I really hope not. I figure she posted so fast and didn't tell us everything. In any case I hope it's okay, could be damaging coming out :s
