I can get on your wave length here. I only carry Hermes and love them all. No style is perfect in every way as an every day bag. There is always a compromise.

The Bolide has become my default bag. Mou and rigid Bolides are so different and I like both. They seem to solve all the problems posed by other Hermes bags....IMO.

Hope you get past this, as I think you do love Hermes.

I have bought and consigned/sold/traded more bags --its embrassing. I actually dont want many --I would prefer to have 2 everydayish ones and a dressier bag. My dilemma-like many of you I purchase only Hermes bags at this point. I am in that Sisyphean struggle.............nothing else compares in quality or style but I find I am struggling mightily with the right bag. Much as I love the look, and the shallower depth, I simply cant work with the kelly. The straps drive me insane. The bolide is gorgeous but a little too something I cant put my finger on for me. The 30 birkin is a bit small practically speaking and can seem prissy, but the 35 seems so huge and heavy. Particularly in darker colors that you would want a 35 in....like black. Anyone getting any "I know what she means" feelings or am I just nuts?:shame:

I think this is in the wrong thread....sorry

I hear ya. I just wish H would put us out of out misery and make a Birkin 32. I would love the HAC 32 if the handles were longer.

Having said that, I really dont mind the B35 except how heavy it can get. I was carrying a Kelly32 today and even that was heavy so maybe its not H; its me and I carry too much stuff?

Hermesaholic, i understand your pain, i am currently also in similar situation. I need to reduce my H bags and i would like only to keep the 'real practical' ones....
from my collection i love most the kelly 35, it fits a ton, still lightweight and looks just fine with every outfit...as a second, i am still stuggling between the etoupe lindy-fabulous color, a bit too sporty design- and the trim II. 35 black...for dressy/evening bag i keep a non-H croc clutch...

How about a Dalvy bag? I like the 'under the radar'. This beauty is a BIN at 4050. right now. It has been posted earlier in either authenticate/website (if anyone likes).
I adore that bag! What is it w/ me and ostrich lately...:sweatdrop:

But I digress...

Hermesaholic, I definitely understand where you're coming from. I felt that way a couple minutes ago - until I spotted my birkin...:girlsigh:

Just wait a bit and see if H produces anything sings to you. At these price points, you don't want to force the issue, KWIM? The bag will appear, trust me!

So True. I think my bag contains all those tiny cute Hermes products (so colorful) and I never use them when I leave the house. I can go out to a party with a small Kelly clutch and have room for all I really need.
I was wearing A 35 cm Kelly today, weighed a ton. All I needed was a lipstick, tiny comb, credit card, a few dollars in cash and my driver's license, cell phone. I had my agenda, huge half empty wallet, a cute Ostrich note pad with 2 pens, 4 credit card holders with cards from SA from Hermes, etc. I think many of us do this to some extent, load up our bags. Mine tends to becoming a filing cabinet. It is a flaw of mine to hoard in all areas. I realize that I just make more work for myself but continue anyway. I wish I could par down. I do this when cleaning out closets, start off with good intentions and give up and keep things I'll never wear anymore, some have tags still on them, don't fit and no longer age appropriate (fuschia tights). I also need to reduce my stash of Hermes bags but just keep adding more.
