^I thought the same thing! I do think it is because her makeup is different. We are so used to seeing her with the dramatic face and cat eye makeup that this face looks completely off...amazing what a good makeup artist can do!

She got an MBE (Member of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire) for her services to/achievements in Music etc.
I know she's supposedly taking a break to be with her baby. At least that is what is being reported. Didn't she have some sort of vocal surgery? Did something happen to her voice? I've only heard her sing once since then, at some awards show. I forgot which one, now.
