adding strap to speedy

I thought the D rings I ordered were 1” but they measure 1.25 (thanks amazon..) Does this hardware look too big?

I think it is going to make me feel better about using a strap!

I think because we are focusing on them, they look a little big, but it doesn't look like you can use smaller ones without them rubbing on the leather. I like these better than what I ordered! It seems like the o rings will rub on the leather more. I might have to get some d rings.

But I did just reorder the 2.5cm. I think I measured 1” and then put so many in my amazon cart that I lost track and they were a little big. Thinking the 2.5 cm will be perfect!

Quick update - the smaller size did not work as it sides hit the handle hardware on the sides. I'm keeping the larger size since it clears the handle completely. It's a bit big... Please post if someone finds something better!
