Adding own diamonds to Love Bracelet?

They basically cut the part of the bracelet in half and then added a piece of needed length in between. You can not see it when the bracelet is on hand, but if to compare with an unaltered bracelet, you could see where that part is.
That is very good to know. Cartier did the sizing? May I ask how much they charged? Can we see a picture?

In 2006 I purchased my first love cuff and had VS quality diamonds left over from another design. I had my jeweler take the diamonds and put the larger ones in the screws and pave' set all the others. Love this bracelet I have two other cuffs without diamonds and put the diamond cuff in the middle of the stack.

I added diamonds to my JUC bracelet and I also resized it half size up. I don’t really understand why you would care about Cartier polishing, it’s a 5 minute job every jeweler can make. But to tell you the truth, instead of buying new Cartier and then adding diamonds to it, it would make a lot more sense to buy a dupe at the very beginning. Love is super easy to make and you can find amazing copies. I added diamonds to my JUC because both sizes didn’t perfectly fit me, so I made 16.5 for myself, and as it has been already altered, it made sense to add diamonds.
You do realize that the Love bracelet has a copyright so it would be illegal for anyone to copy…

I care. And I am sure Cartier does. It devalues what we are buying.
I’d politely disagree, and after market Cartier prices kinda prove that no matter how many copies there are, prices still stay very high + the house itself increases prices every year and feeling fine.
I’m also not into reselling stuff that I own. I only buy pieces that I can easily afford, as all this luxury stuff is definitely not an investment.

Wow it's beautiful!
I purchased the cuff From Cartier and then added the diamonds. So it is an authentic Cartier but after market diamonds. The only thing I regret is getting a larger size because in 2006 I wore suits so I wanted the bracelet to show lower because of the long sleeves, not the smartest thing to do. The SA warned me but oh well I still love it.

I think it looks great. Nothing wrong with after market add one. Men do it all the time with their cars!!! . My husband has a Corvette. He had customized it to his liking. I highly doubt Chevrolet cares. They sell lots and price keeps going up like Cartier!
