teen's clothing. a&f is the stable of middle/high schoolers.

i think the brand's image is very different outside the US than it is here. i had a friend come over asia, and when crazy buying a&f, and thought of it as some "symbol of american culture." over here, its just teen clothing..

Mostly middleschool/early high school kids. I mean, it depends though. There are those tshirts that say "Abercrombie&Fitch" and then there are the basic vnecks. I think most people do shop at Abercrombie for a long time (I still do and I'm in college) but I buy different things. I no longer buy the logo tshirts, but I buy the jeans because they fit me well, cardigans when I find a style I like, and I love their basic vneck ts.

It's not anything special or particularly fashionable, it really depends. If you buy it and wear it in another country, it might mean you're really fashion-foward, cool or whatnot.

Ah, I see! I was confused because you seemed to freak out after a bunch of negative opinions of the brand were posted. If you really like A&F, you should feel free to wear it outside of your house, not just lounging around.

I was amused at the difference in opinions of the US girls to us UK girls THATS ALL. Thats not freaking out! It just made me laugh because we were all flocking over it but the opinion of you guys stateside is that its pretty young and a bit naff. I'm on here to discuss fashion not to be dissed thanks!!
