'Graceland' On USA: Aaron Tveit And Daniel Sunjata Occupy The Most Secretive House On TV (EXCLUSIVE VIDEO)

USA's "Graceland" premieres on June 6 at 10 p.m. ET, and the sizzling summer series is a marked departure from the network's recognizable brand of "blue skies" programming, noted for its sunny optimism and wry humor.

Instead, "Graceland" is gritty, complex and morally ambiguous, with characters you probably shouldn't trust but can't help but admire. Centered around a secretive group of undercover agents from the Federal Bureau of Investigation, Drug Enforcement Agency and US Customs who all live and operate under one roof, "Graceland" sets up plenty of tangled motivations and allegiances right out of the gate. You can check out The Huffington Post's exclusive promo for the new series above.

Our entry into this mysterious world (which is based on a real house that a number of agencies truly shared) comes courtesy of FBI rookie Mike Warren (Aaron Tveit), a booksmart newbie who is eager to learn from legendary FBI agent Paul Briggs (Daniel Sunjata). Sadly, Briggs is less interested in imparting wisdom than he is in finding someone to do his dirty work on the chore wheel. The series is created by Jeff Eastin, the brains behind USA's successful "White Collar," but while the concept seems to trade on that familiar good cop/bad conman cop formula, the shows are undeniably distinct.

Rounding out the supporting cast are Vanessa Ferlito as strong-willed FBI agent Catherine "Charlie" DeMarco, Brandon Jay McLaren as quick-tempered US Customs agent Dale Jakes, Serinda Swan as intuitive and merciless DEA Agent Paige Arkin and Manny Montana as fun-loving FBI agent Joe "Johnny" Tuturro. Though they work for different agencies and have vastly different priorities, the group is united in their belief in Graceland and the unorthodox family they've formed within the house.

USA will make the first episode of "Graceland" available via Video on Demand before its premiere, from April 29 to May 12.

So, I watched this today, and it was pretty good. A slow burn for the first half of the pilot episode, but the second was really good. They are introducing the characters of the house slowly and letting them reveal themselves in a natural way. I think this one is a keeper.

You can still watch the pilot on VOD for while.

Aaron's performance was good. The first half you see him as the straighty-180 FBI graduate, stiff as a board, but as the episode progresses, more layers are added to both his and the other tenants of Graceland. I liked it, a decent introduction and the actors are compelling to watch.
