I had 3 bags Alexander Wang bag emily, emily small, and rocco.Emily bag is not so heavy for the size of it.but I regret rocco bag, although only carry a wallet and cell phone alone is very heavy ): that makes me lazy wear my rocco.

Pros: Good Quality Leather,Antique shape,i love it

I'm a new rocco user (had my black with RGHW for about 3 months now). Love the fact that no one recognizes my bag unless they know the brand. Love love the studs, that's what sold me on the bag. The only con, it's heavy. But after a few months of using it, it no longer bothers me. :D

Thank you so much for your input. I love how light the speedy is, but I love the unique look of the rocco and the fact I could get a black to go with more outfits

I was just using my Rocco today! my boyfriend and I went to get Mexican food and had to wait 30-45 minutes for our food. There was no place to sit so I stood the entire time and now my back is aching. :( the Rocco is an amazing bag but I wish I had kept the rockie instead as I never had any issue with my ole little back. I would highly suggest checking it out at the store and ask if you can put some of your things in it and walk around the store. If it doesn't hurt then definitely get the bag because its gorgeous :)

I had the original Rocco and sold it. I missed it so much that today I got the Iodine Rocco for a good deal today on Ebay. This was one of the first "celeb" bags I saw years ago and instantly loved. The one I bought today has a strap, has the upgraded piping and has the lighter studs. I also bought the edge cream my users here use. Once I get this Rocco, I won't be selling it!

Which is this edge cream?

Thanks!
I got lost in the threads, but as far as I understand, do I have to apply a leather conditioner first before applying the edge coat?
Can you tell me a good leather conditioner?
And also, do I need black edge coat for my black Rocco and neutral for my luggage one?
Thanks :smile1:

Check out the "Alexander Wang Edge thread" some users give advice on what edge kote's they use. They also detail how they use it and the conditioners they use. I'm a newbie to using the cream and don't want to steer you wrong. I 'll probably use my apple leather conditioner. I use it for my Balenciaga bags, I will use the Edge Kote after the conditioner dries.

Thank you so much for the info! I will definitely check out the thread you propose. Good luck!

I have two Rocco bags, and one was heavily carried and definitely shows wear to the piping, handles, etc. It's a lighter color (luggage) so there is also color transfer from dark jeans. That said, I have a YSL Besace in a similar color (which I also carried a lot) and it shows the same wear (piping, color transfer, strap actually tore on this bag). So I think it's comparable to other designer bags out there. If you use it a lot, it will show wear. But I still love the design and how edgy it looks. It is heavy so I don't use it as often now, but it fits a lot and looks great!

I just got my Rocco today from Ebay; it's definitely authentic and in great condition. It's the original style without the strap. I'm just hoping the piping will not rub off and the white plastic doesn't eventually show like some of the other posters. I'm excited about using my new bag. It's gorgeous.

I have been checking out the Beet Rocco with aged brass hardware. According to the care booklet inside, this bag is made from Shrunken Lambskin. It says it's particularly prone to scratches and is delicate but geez, it does not FEEL delicate at all. It feels like super thick cowhide (heavy pebbled leather almost bubbly). In my mind, I almost think I could drag it around on the ground but I would never. I'm not rough on any of my belongings BUT I'm wondering about past quality issues on Rocco bags since finding this thread. In general, were improvements made to address past quality issues?

I have had 2 roccos, absolutely adored them both, but they are very heavy. I also found that the leather at the bottom seams did not wear well, and tore over time. I still am pining for a latte with rose gold studs, but don't think I will buy one based on the above.
