I would like to share with everyone a beautiful souvenir I got from Florence - a Buccellati ring with his famous Florentine toolwork. Sorry for the picture quality, I'm rather illiterate with cameras.

This looks stunning! Buccellati is doing such beautiful work, but they don't get much attention online. What are the rings retailing for?

The rings vary widely in prices. The range with toolwork (honeycomb) goes up to Euro 21K, before discount and tax rebate. It's also much cheaper to buy it in Italy vs Paris. This exact ring I bought costs almost Euro 10K more at Place Vendôme! Naturally when the shop owner presented me with his price, I couldn't resist!

From what prices does the range start? Is it possible to ask for discount in the boutiques? I'll go to Rome this summer, will check it out there, probably it will be too expensive for me, but even window shopping would be so nice :D. Thanks for the info.
