Does anyone know what they actually DO with the confiscated item?? Just curious, because they seriously confiscate tons of items. I've seen police load trucks of raided stuff in Manhatten, but I always wonder what they do after they inspect it and stuff. Do they just throw it out?

it's supposed to be illegal to sell fake item, so what i don't understand is how come in london there're vendors/shops selling fakes so openly at portobello market (esp. the junction between westbourne grove&portobello road) or bayswater (queensway, next to the bowling place) whilst there're police ppl walking up and down the road.
