***A Place for the Fakes***

TPF may earn a commission from merchant affiliate
links, including eBay, Amazon, and others

They do list that since they're no "expert" it may be a "knock off" so "bid accordingly"...
(Apparently ppl have been messaging the seller it's a fake?)
That being said, if the seller has a reasonable suspicion, why not get it authenticated/do some research *before* listing it?? As you said, this is a bad fake- 5 minutes of googling how to spot a fake would suffice.

Ok, I didn't see that before but now that it's out there, hopefully nobody will bid.

YES! EmileLove just saw this too.... UGH. This is the SAME seller who sold the "superfake" Bleu Paon (and an Ultraviolet) last month. I TOLD Tradesy about this seller before those bags sold and I just alerted them about this bag too... and they did NOTHING. So frustrating!! I think everyone who reads this should launch a contact campaign to Tradesy to get them to STOP allowing fakes to be sold. This makes me so hopping mad.

Pics of the bag in question, in case you spot it somewhere other than Tradesy. Seller goes by name of Kia on Tradesy:

It looks like either Tradesy or the seller pulled the bag from the site. Hope it doesn't reappear elsewhere (though it probably will).

Wow...I'm stunned- I could make a very long list of things that are wrong with that bag

Right?!? This seller just keeps posting fake after fake after fake. I keep alerting Tradesy and the alerts must go into a black hole somewhere. They posted the same "bleu paon" with a Y (!) tag last month. Sold for like $1400. If you look at the person's "items sold" history they've sold like 4 fakes. Tradesy's form letter they send out when you contact them about fakes says they ban people who sell counterfeit items but... They just keep letting this person scam unwitting buyers & collecting their 13%. So disappointing.

This auction has 21 bids.

Fake, Fake, Fake - and seller knows it's fake but does not care.

Magjes did you say anything to the seller? I said something to the Tradesy seller--not accusing, just being very factual that the bag had been I.D.ed as fake, reported to Tradesy and posted on tPF. The seller went off on me accusing me of stalking and harassing, asking if I was a seller who was mad because she is hurting my business.... ??? As if the thought that I'm a buyer who hates seeing people get swindled by crooks never even entered her (his) mind. Doesn't it just make you crazy? I honestly don't know why I care, but I DOOOO.:nono:

I've never been on Tradsey so if she is referring to a mad seller there then she is not referring to me. But if anyone knows Bal bags there then she probably has haters on that site too! I was simply a ebay potential buyer on ebay and innocently asked for pics of the rivet......a pic she was "unfortunately" unwillingly to provide. When I told her that the pics she has posted in the listing are off she replied that she "will look into it" and I left it at that. Then by mere coincidence I read in a FB group yesterday that she also sold a fake Work to another FB group member recently. The bag was returned to her and she relisted it knowing that it was not authentic. Others in the FB group started posting pics of her old ebay listings and we could all see past fake Balenciagas being sold as well. Giving her the benefit of the doubt I then told her via ebay of the listings that were being mentioned and why they were fake. Her answer at that point led me to believe that she is fully aware of what she is doing. Ebay is not listening and will not remove her fake bags so someone needs to warn potential buyers. I feel so bad for the ebay buyers that have purchased her FAKES and left her positive feedback. Ebay is doing nada to protect them. I loved the old days when you could see the buyer's ID and contact them. This ebay secrecy only allows a shady seller to behave badly more often and for a longer period of time before being shut down. Honestly at first I thought the seller was simply ignorant of the brand but she has been told too many times and is turning a deaf ear to the news. Yeah - she knows. Ebay is behind her. Sad.

My story with the Tradesy seller is almost identical, save for the FB part (I'm not on FB anymore... Thank heavens bc all I need is one more place to shop/chat lol).... At first I gave her benefit of doubt bc she said her boyfriend brought the bag back from a trip to Italy and I thought she might just be unaware. She played the innocent but sold the bag anyway, then another, and another, and now she has listed the same blue bag I originally messaged her about but with a different plaque inside, meaning she must have a stock pile of these blue bags she's releasing over time. I've told Tradesy again and again, and they do nothing. So sad that counterfeiters are protected while buyers are not. Should be other way around.

lol. I should get off FB too!
The bad part is that seeing this type of selling on ebay only makes me and other buyers stay away.
Funny how she complains that someone else is trying to "hurt' her business. She's the only one to blame for that (she has sold fake makeup too) and I can only hope that karma exist!
