There are more clear bags out there than you'd think -- there are employers who require that their employees use them. Usually in retail -- to cut down on "shrinkage", better known as employee theft.

Yeah, when I'm at the food court at the mall I can always tell who works at Bloomies, Macy's, etc because they all have clear bags!

When I travel, I take no carry on luggage, pack my purse in a suitcase and pack my absolute essentials (ID, ticket, boarding pass, debit card, traveller's cheques) in a small makeup bag or pencil case. I guess I'll get the chance to play with the daisy print clear vinyl I've had for years. Don't ask me how I came across something like that because I don't remember! I think I have enough to make a couple of small cases.
