Unfortunately, my SO purchased it for me. It was with a Citi card, not an AmEx... or else he wired the money to them -- one or the other. I can't recall now.

Well even with Citi you should have some backup. I had an issue with a Tiffany repair and finally went to a manager - they actually gave me a new pair of earrings because the repair was flawed. Anyways, sorry this is happening its so stinky not to get to enjoy your Cartier because they can't get their act together.

Apparently they are very tightfisted with the clasps because fakers like to put them on a fake and it makes them look real. Like Rolex... when you swap out the face, you never get the old one back.

I was thinking about tourneau too for a watch...eek.
