Since I ever saw iris for the first time, that is one of my fav! I feel so dissapointed at myself because i didnt anything the first time i saw iris (h had a selection of small leather goods)..i thought i would take some time to think what i wanted..and now everything is sold out, and the color is discontinued..
You birkin looks lovely and GHW combination is to die for! I aslo loved the photo tour you shared with us! Made me feel like as if i have been there myself!

Asherbirkel, you are more than welcome! I also missed out on Iris the first season they offered it. When I started to see it in bags and SLG in the boutique, I ended up really really like the colour. So my sweet SA placed a podium order in March for the A/W. I am so happy I got it in time! Perhaps you can look into the reseller route? Good luck!
i'm still very carefull with resellers...it is not only the question of trust, but also becasue i love the whole experience of buying my H items from the store..each piece has its own little history
.Also, i'm hoping that the new 2012 colors will offer a new purple, similar to iris, called crocus, if im not mistaken..let's see..
I have read about crocus in the S/S 2012 thread. If it is like the eggplant colour as discussed on the thread, it will have a lot more red compared to Iris. I would say crocus perhaps is like a warm purple while Iris is a true or maybe slightly cool purple.
