I'm so glad you're considering the Yachtmaster now! It is such a good looking watch! I am not a big fan of the Daytona because of the subdials and the big face - it looks too oversized for me and sporty. The Yachtmaster brings together a bit of sport with elegance (and comes in three different sizes)! I almost got the Platinum and SS one (they only come in two colors, pt+ss or yg+ss). The pt+ss is slightly less I believe because only the dial is platinum, and it only comes with silver dial. . but the dial is gorgeous. It is shimmery! I'll try to find a pic for you:
