32 HAC too small for a 35cm girl?

welcome odiepu - have you checked the size reference guide? there are some great pix in the asian ladies and their birkins of a lady and her jpg. she looks a bit small, but the bag looks great on her.
i have a HAC 32 and it is the perfect bag IMO. i am 5 1 more or less. i have heard the jpg is actually bulkier and heavy to carry. it is kind of a personal preference thing.

On this 36 HAC, the handles do appear longer or more similar to a 35/40 Birkin.

I am 5'3' and am truly the ultimate big bag person.....i have a JPG which I love but it is a mile wide, not for the faint of heart, but it's how you feel in it so i love it! I have a couple 32 HAC's and 35 birkins, truly i still find the 35 to be the best every day bag. i like to carry a small bottle of water, a gm shawl, a magazine or book, my small kntting project, my DS's snacks, plus my large chalemelon insert with globetrotter agenda, lv inslolite wallet and Karo GM cosmetic bag and glasses, for reading and sun. with all this the 32 HAC is exploding and i don't like to wear my h bags with "wings". so my 32's tend to be more for dressier social occasions and my 35's everyday! it really just depends on how much you lug around around. ME??? ALOT!!! the 32 HAC is more the perfect "handbag" for me since the handles are smaller and it doens't fit as well as in the crook of the arm! HTH!

I love the 32cm HAC! It's an elegant bag, great alternative to 35cm Birkin. But the 36cm HAC is a great bag too! I'm not too tall..Here with my 32cm HAC:

-I must have a totally unrealistic picture in my mind of how I look. First off, I felt the 32 was a little small for all my 'stuff'. I love the 36 I have.
But they look on me, in my mirror, so much smaller than they do on you. Then again, I am just shy of plus size, so maybe height is not the only consideration on how they look on a person...
Chessmont, I agree - the sizes look totally different on different people. I adore bigger bags, but on me I think the 32 HAC is the limit. I am 5'6" and would love a 36 but I think it would drown me.
For comparison here is my 32 HAC v 35 Birkin.
I can certainly fit what feels like more in my birkins - the HAC feels smaller to me, but that may be to do with the stiffer leather, as well as the fact that I find it less roomy as the HAC is more of a long, tall bag, meaning I have to delve more for my stuff than the long wide opening of a birkie.
In reality from the pics on me, it looks like there is v little difference at all!

- I agree, they look very similar in size on you. I am 5'6" too, but am a size 12/14 (USA), so either the bags DO look smaller on me, or I like hiding behind them? I feel weird carrying little bags.
i had to try on doloresmia's HAC 32 several times to be sure the size was going to work for me... still don't know if i prefer it to the 35 Birkin size/shape on me, but i love it at least equally!

side-by-side pix would be good here, but i'm not prepared. sorry!
