Just chiming in here on the tarnish issue to reassure you: the tarnish of Tiffany silver is linked to their turquoise "tarnish treated" storage bags. I switched to plastic zips and no more tarnish.

I second the bean necklace. A classic piece.

I like the box charm, but which do you like best?

I've only had two pieces, and I never had an issue with tarnish.

+1 for the Bean. My first piece was a Elsa Peretti Open Heart necklace. :smile1: http://www.tiffany.com/Shopping/Ite...5-p+1-c+288187-r+101287465-x+-n+6-ri+-ni+0-t+

Regarding tarnishing issue, my Somerset ring tarnishes the most. But my 1837 ring is holding up well. I wear both of it daily. Necklaces and bracelets wise, as long as I store them in the Tiffany pouch, it is fine. :smile1:

Thanks. Now i'm not so worried abt the tarnishing since quite a number of ppl say that the silver holds up quite well :)

My 2 cents: Since you like gold, look at the Paloma Picasso Dot Charm. It comes in a variety of stones and it is in your budget. Go to a store to see it. It is stunning in person. The pictures on the internet do not do justice!

In sterling silver you have plenty of choices in your budget. Man In The Moon pendant is nice and different. Elsa Peretti mini bottles are also different and the mini size is perfect. They look small on the web site, but when you try them on in the store you realize that they are just the perfect size. I also like her Madonna pendant. Paloma Picasso has nice options in your price range also.
And for a classic bracelet, you can not go wrong with the Venetian Link one or the toggle bracelet.

From all the options you listed, I would personally go for the silver box charm. Elegant, classic and timeless!

Thanks for ur suggestions. I shall look up the dot charms :)
