3 stone Ring, or Halo Setting?

I'm late to chime in, but I have a three stone ring with an approx. 1 ct center and while I know that the center stone would look huge in a halo on my size 3 finger, I think having it set next to two stones with their own presence is a very classic, understated and substantial look. It's not over the top, but it definitely is noticed. I think you'll enjoy wearing yours... I've noticed that not very many people do three stones (probably because the halo is so trendy right now), so I get comments on how unique but classic it is all the time.

When it was first described, I didn't know how good that combination would look together, but it looks very pretty. It shows you never know until you put it all together!

Thanks All for congratulations! I do love it. I was just getting caught up in the fact that there were so many options! But I am happy with mine in the end. I like how the cushion and the princess go together though they are different shapes and sparkle differently.

I didnt really even consider doing cushion cut side stones, seems like a cushion overload to me!

And the reason for the concern of should I have done halo or not....is that I feel like when you do halo it gives the impression that your stone is bigger! So that is what I was debating over....

definitely halo. i think cushion solitares around 1 carat to 1.8 carat look so great in halo settings, especially in a harry winston style one. let us know what you decide!

Very true. That's the reason I ended up going with a halo style. More presence on the finger for less money.

i have a cushion cut with halo and adore it. i must say i prefer a halo, but it all depends on the setting.
