3 stone Ring, or Halo Setting?

Thanks! : ) I even went with my boyfriend, (now fiance) to be a part of the picking out process so I can't say I didnt get what I wanted! lol. But I am so neurotic, I keep thinking should I have gotten a halo setting, or oops should I have gotten round?! Its just me I am crazy and I should just enjoy what I have instead of wondering if we should have gotten something different! Too many choices! lol

But I am happy and love it regardless!

Personally, I think around 1 carat stone is a good size for a halo setting. Any size will do. But, if the center is a huge stone, it might be too bling for every day wear. (However, it depends on your life style, of course!)

I agree. I love the halo setting for my ring because my fiance could only afford the .97 (and I say "only" VERY loosely, because having almost a 1 carat center stone is amazing!) but I have short, chunky fingers so even a 1 carat would look too small for my hand. By putting the center stone into a halo-style setting I was able to increase the presence of the ring on my finger without dramatically increasing the price. Win-win!
