ladyCouture. More specifics about your bag are need. Who the seller is. Pix of the blindstamping. Size of the bag. What the seller is telling you re leather, condition age etc. No opinions will be rendered with what you are currently posted.

From the last conversation I have had with her, the bag is 50 cm and made from the original Hermes calf leather Veau Swift. She doesn't sell online and her name is Madison. I was actually referred to her by a friend who purchased from her personal collection. I did not ask the age, but I guess I should have and she says the condition is pristine. I will ask for pics of the date stamp though the next time I speak with her.

Whatever that bag is made of, it is not swift and the bag in the pictures does not appear to be authentic, in my opinion. FYI, swift is not "the original Hermes calf leather".

And the pics are tagged with the name of a website, dresstokillonline.com.

No, but I have bought from there before...I do love that place. So sorry to hear the site is down.

LadyCouture, I think what this post implies is that if the bag is not being sold from this site, the images are likely stolen. In other words, "Madison" might be using someone's images, and that the bag in the images is not the one in her possession.

Am I following this correctly?

At any rate, the scenario of friends referring you to someone unknown is never one I have found to end well.

Okay, in that case, I will try to meet with the seller this weekend and take my own pics and upload those. Hopefully, it will be authentic and I can get it because it is sooooooo pretty.

Bomb, those things can happen. Don't lose hope. Your bag will come.

If you haven't paid for the bag yet, do not. Stop transcation as there is too much confusion here.

If she is not affiliated with dresstokill, and does not share a photobucket account with them, there is no point in meeting her. particularly since she doesnt seem to know what she is talking about in regards to the leather. This could not be mistaken for swift under any circumstances.
